In January 2016 my husband requested a specific healthy smoothie that called for some organic goats milk, but after his first sip, he didn't like the "farmy" taste. So I researched what I could make with these extra cartons of goats milk, that I had no use for, and came up with my first batch of cold-process soap (pictured on our home page). Being the entrepreneur that he was, he encouraged me to keep making more and I noticed this soap was so nourishing even for my son's skin issues that they all cleared up! So I continued to research how to perfect my formula...

Unfortunately, my wonderful husband passed away shortly after this and I leaned on his encouragement as a stepping stone to keep going. I named our company after our daughter Havana (and my family heritage) and since then, we have switched over to completely vegan products. Goats milk has been replaced with aloe vera liquid. We handcraft each purifying soap as well as our entire line of products with all nourishing ingredients that are all paraben-free, sulfate-free and phthalate-free.
